Written in Sand & Stone Data sheet. These thumbnails show all images on this CD-ROM. By clicking on any image the order information is displayed. The CD-ROM is produced to ISO 9660 standard and contains no viewing software. Each CD-ROM is packed with a thumbnail sheet with associated filenames and is important to locate the files on the CD-ROM. All files are prepared in RGB 24 bit color depth. The base folder includes a test image: TESTOTTO.JPG and a README file in .doc and .txt formats. The README file explains the use of the test image if needed. The test image is designed for 24 bit displays only and covers shadow, mid-tone and highlight detail which all should be visible on a balanced monitor and program gamma. With the use of various Color Management Systems around the globe highlight and shadow detail can be destroyed of the original file. Written in Sand & Stone. - SS-xxxx. This CD-ROM contains 100 images in square format of 10 granite and 40 marble tiles, and 50 sand patterns. The square format allows easy cropping for vertical and horizontal use. The granite and marble textures are digitally mastered and are of extreme high resolution. The sand patterns are prepared from medium roll-film for high quality. Main folders: GRANITE - 10 images MARBLE - 40 images SAND - 50 images The 1200line folder contains all images (with a dimension of 1200x1200 pixel, 96 DPI) in lower resolution of approximately 4.2 Mb in file size. These files can be used for web designs and are also much faster to resize. The 3600line folder contains the high resolution images with a dimension of 3600x3600 pixel in JEPEG format ( uncompressed file size: 37 Mb RGB, 300 DPI) and are compressed at YUV 4:4:4 at 1 to 4%. This low compression ratio does not show any compression artifacts and image degradation. However, the file size can be as large as 11 Mb on the CD-ROM.
